This and the other "Long Beach" photos are almost certainly those of Long Beach, New York. The Hotel Nassau and the Long Beach boardwalk are captured in in the background. Coincidentally, one of the Hotel Nassau’s initial proprietors was John L. de Saulles, already featured in one of the Bain LOC photos (Nassau County, Long Island, in early photographs, 1869-1940, by Bette S. Weidman, Linda B. Martin – Page 115).
