Basic White Water Safety and Rescue – Kayaking

This podcast is submitted as an assessment for a Sports Science (Outdoor Activities) degree at Bangor University. It is aimed at providing a visual coaching aid for instructors introducing individuals to a grade II-III white water environment.

    I started paddling in the 1970s when safety and rescue was not considered. I thought that I knew a bit about it until a recent Alps trip made me realise how rusty I was.

    This is an interesting and informative run through. Well done!

    This is brilliant work, very clear and informative, incredible camera work too, particularly of the swimming footage.
    It has served as a fantastic refresher for my WWSR training :)
    It would be great if you could make one for climbing safety? x
