God this performance actually gave me a shiver. My favourite piano piece and Asada did her performance so beautifully. As a Korean, I don’t care who is better or worse. Who the fuck are we to judge them, just enjoy the performance, whether it is Korean, Japanese, Chinese… People this is art. There is no boundary. Look at each performance, not the nationality.
Even Mao did 3A combo, she only got >74 where Yuna with 3Lz combo (UR on 3T forgiven) , with her inflexible, wiggly spiral / super-traveled spin / lower quality step seq, she still got 78. Yuna’s mark is unbeatable. Someone would have to do 2 times of quad jumps with super high PCS and GOE. I’m unhappy with Yuna’s mark. What’s really ugly is that once the mark is out, it is unchangeable. Shame on the judge for what they did at the Olympics. Mao’s skating is so unhappy since then.
Why here is Kim’s name…? Everyone can brake Kim’s doubt high score soon, but Mao’s record which she did two triple axel at Olympic game is perhaps no one could ever! So, Mao and Kim is very different.

Personally, I still prefer Yuna’s style. But this was a BEAUTIFUL program – very well executed, with grace and flow across the ice. Good job, Mao
