ATX Games – High School Camp

ATX GAMES is FOUR DAYS of exciting games, trips, parties and worship that no High School Student will want to miss.
Each day will be a unique event, competing in teams, hanging out with students from across the ATX and experiencing real worship and teaching by Pastor Mac Richard.
Monday, June 25th THE CRASH OLYMPICS
Time: 5:30pm – 10pm
Meeting Location: LHC Worship Center (We will travel to a local Sports Complex)
Mission: Take your team to the Champion's podium in our own high energy, one of a kind, mind-blowing version of the Olympic Games.
We will be heading to a local ATX sports complex where we will compete in teams, in a series of fun, dynamic games. Once the winning team has been decided, we will have a great time of worship, and a special message from Pastor Mac Richard.
The buses will leave the LHC Worship Center parking lot at 6pm. Make sure you are here early to register with your team and be on the bus. Snacks will be provided. The buses will be back at LHC no later than 10pm.
Tuesday, June 26th CRASH ON THE BEACH
Time: 7am – 9pm
Location: LHC Worship Center (We will travel to Galveston)
After the energetic night of CRASH OLYMPICS we are going to journey to Galveston for a relaxing, restful day on the beach… Yeah, right!! Get ready for an exciting, fun and sun filled day. Bring a cooler and packed lunch, or money to buy your lunch for a picnic on the beach. We will have a devotional time together followed by beach games or unwinding in the sun. The buses will be back at LHC by 9pm.
Bring:
- Packed lunch and snack (in a cooler) or money to buy food
- Swimsuit and towel
o Girls – no string bikinis (straps should be 1" wide on tops and bottoms)
o Guys – Board shorts or long swimsuit – No Speedos
- Sunscreen
Wednesday, June 27th HUNGER GAMES
Time: 5:30pm – 10pm
Where: LHC Worship Center (We will travel to a local Ghost Town)
Dinner will be provided
In a dystopian future, a totalitarian nation is divided between districts and the Capitol. Each year representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal retribution for a past rebellion, the participants are forced to eliminate their competitors… May the odds be ever in your favor.
Well, it won't be a fight to the death, but we will be travelling to a local ghost town to reenact our own phenomenal version of the Hunger Games. Competing in teams, our tributes will work together to be the last district standing and be awarded the title of Victor. This is unlike any game you have seen before!
Following the Games, we will have a time of campfire worship and a special message by Mac Richard.
The buses will return to LHC by 10pm.
Thursday, June 28th EPIC PAINT PARTY
Where: LHC Summit Building (on Church Campus)
When: 6pm – 9pm
Food trailer available
Two Words – PAINT PARTY! Another two – LIVE DJ! We are going to PARTY – out of control, glow in the dark, messy, incredible party! We are going to turn the Summit into a wild dance room and paint party. Students will literally be able to paint on everything… walls, canvas, the floor and each other. Wear a white shirt and be prepared to leave colorful! Paint will be provided, but additional paint will be available for purchase.
We will have a worship and message time before departing for the night!
