Army Rangers are a larger-scale SF.
Delta is another SF.
its just different Units do different things if a person can for one even make it into a Special Operations unit they are the best of the best period because the US Military isnt for everybody and Special Ops is damn sure not for everybody think about it .47% of the US is in the Military of the Mil. only 1% of them is Special Ops so you do the math on how hard it is

If any of yall are looking into SEAL make sure you can swim 500meters in under 10 mins, have good PT scores and your running is good because you gotta pre-qualify and get a contract before you can even be given a spot into BUD/S. Just throwing out some info to help you guys out

No, I’m not a SEAL, not yet anyway. Two good friends of mine are leaving for BUD/S in a few weeks, and hopefully if I perform well enough in college I can attain one of the few tickets to BUD/S available to NROTC graduates.

Basically, the green berets are not the army rangers, I really don’t want to argue with you because you seem like one of the few guys commenting on this that ISN’T hating on the SEALs, which, in my opinion with the community, training, prestige and brotherhood that they provide, are the best military unit out there.

Green berets, Army Rangers, and Delta Force all report to ASOC, at Ft Bragg.
Green berets must have a minimum of 3 years in the army before they can apply, after that they have many years of training and foreign language experience before they receive the beret.
Rangers are also army, except any 18 year old can enlist for ranger training. They perform many of the same things as green berets, such as raids and ambushes but in no way are anywhere near as qualified as they are.
