Occupy Wall Street Needs to Reinvent Says Penny Stock Analyst Peter Leeds, Author of ‘Invest in Penny Stocks,’ and Publisher of the World Famous Penny Stocks Newsletter

New York, NY (PRWEB) January 26, 2012

Love them or hate them, Occupy Wall Street protesters who descended Wall Street, and hundreds of other locations worldwide, may be hitting a different kind of wall, suggests penny stock analyst Peter Leeds, publisher of the world famous penny stocks newsletter at http://pennystocks.com, and author of the most popular book on penny stocks, “Invest in Penny Stocks.”

“You may have noticed it yourself, with parks once full of activists now empty, news crews being few and far between, and media coverage dropping off a cliff. Some may blame the onset of winter as the main factor chasing people away, others think it was municipalities cracking down with little-used bylaws to clear out tent cities, but whatever the cause may be, the result is the same: Occupy Wall Street has seen it’s best days,” says Leeds.

The penny stock analyst cites Google Trends, where searches for Occupy Wall Street have declined by 80% from October 15th peak until now. At the same time, the penny stock trader explains total news coverage of 10% has fallen to less than 1%, according to the Pew Research Center’s weekly news index.

“The movements in history which had the biggest impact were also the ones with the clearest messages,” states Leeds. “No war. Racial Equality. Fundamentally Solid Penny Stocks. Pro Life. Pro Choice. Occupy Wall Street needs to nail down their measurable goals, and communicate that to the masses.”

Strong branding, mentions Leeds, is no different whether you are in the business of protesting, penny stocks, tennis rackets, or stock research.

The penny stock trader also goes on to say, “Based on conversations with Occupy Wall Street activists, conducted for my stock market analysis and research into penny stocks to buy, they didn’t have a core message that was agreed upon. When asked what Occupy Wall Street was all about, six different protesters had six different answers.”

Leeds asks if Occupy Wall Street is still relevant, and will it have a presence in 2012? “That remains to be seen – it will come down to the commitment of the activists. There are fewer protesters involved now, but the ones who remain are the most serious kind. This spring will be the biggest test for the entire Occupy Wall Street movement.”
