The 6th of November 2011 saw the UK show take place after the NABBA Universe. It has been before the Universe in the past but this move was a good one.
Being right after such a big show meant a couple top class players would come as well as enter this brilliant contest. I understand some Universe competitors feel it can be unfair to compete and also take a put away from somebody whom is more of the beginner. But my opinion is its great, and gives a couple sports athletes the chance to stand side by side with athletes they admire or aspire to be such as.
It was a packed auditorium as usual, and a huge queue for registration. 12 classes, all with eager and well ready bodybuilders. It’s not an surprise at these a brilliant venue. The trophies and prizes yet once again well worth the work. T-shirts, required protein powder etc. Courtesy of USN, Muscle Fury, Ultralife, UDO’s. Its also such a perfectly run show. Paul Jeffreys as well as his team creating sure everything is in put.
The buzz at The Frontier is brilliant. There’s a great area with top trade stands, a lot of seating, great lights and sound, and a big stage. One couldn’t wish for greater.

Overall Winner Andy James
The first timers is a brilliant class. 6 players battled out to become the UK first timers winner. The quality was high. Some great posing to state generally there first timers too. The winner Andrew has a lot of possible, great balance.
The Below 18′s had 1 athlete and so he stayed with the Juniors for the pose downs. Again great potential here for a young guy. A great amount of muscle and shape. One to view. Well done Edgar.
The Juniors appear to be getting bigger, or is it me. Great turnout, great sparkly trunks too. But well done to be different. Samual Torr additionally recommended on stage to his Girlfriend, and so congratulations.
The Beginner class is a tough class. Possibly among the toughest to crack. I ended up being impressed with the posing. This was a tough class to Judge. Despite a tiny error whenever reading out the choice the lads were later called back to be given the correct placings. Effectively done to Rich Gannon first put. It ended up being these a great line-up it may have gone either method.
Masters more than 40′s 7 brilliant bodybuilders. A couple of that have not competed for 20 years. Kevin Davenport the winner ended up being Huge. All of the sports athletes have been in great form with a lot of meat. Great posing routines too.
Masters over 50′s. Again an extremely inspirational class. Men over 50 showing it can be done, and done well. 7 awesome physiques. All were shredded and carrying a lot of meats. Posing with grace too. Can’t not mention Denton Wilson, a crowd favourite with his great routine.
Miss Toned Figure is a favourite here at Batley. A stage full of players making judging extremely difficult. Everyone fit as well as searching great. Energetic routines and also beautiful posing created this a stand out class.
Miss Trained Figure, an additional crowd favourite and also energetic class. This ended up being also a big battle. Muscular and ripped ended up being every one of these seven ladies. All were worth a top spot making this difficult to judge. Nicola Goodwin doing effectively despite being moved from the toned class. Great blend of physiques.
Mr Class 4, 4 gentleman in this class. Garry was in great form simply whipping Ken Carter. Close contest for top 3.
Mr class 3. This was a class full of great athletes. I think this class had a real buzz about it too. Many smiling which we don’t view enough. Chris Hart posing ended up being thus good he received best poser honor. Great shape too. Top 3 may have gone either way, however the judges know precisely what generally there interested in.
Mr class 2 saw the return of Andy James. Andy was larger and also shredded. It was not an easy class either. Brilliant routines and the standard of posing was great. This class echoes the greatness we had seen all day long.
Mr Class 1 plus the crowd are still going strong. Newcomer Phill Pass winning. Another electric routine by Ryan Backhouse. Yet another great class.
The overall is usually a good class, and usually nerve racking for the supporters. The total winner also gets the prestigious sword trophy. No cost spared on that either. Well done to Andy James from Profitness gym chesterfield.
