NAAMTA Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification

American Fork, UT (PRWEB) April 04, 2012

NAAMTA (National Accreditation Alliance of Medical Transport Applications) is excited to announce a milestone achievement in becoming certified to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certification.

Through this announced achievement, we demonstrate the importance of third-party standards review, not only to our clients, but also to our own business goals and processes.

NAAMTAs decision to attain ISO 9001:2008 Certification is proactive in anticipating the needs of our Alliance members, and demonstrating our commitment to delivering quality products and services.

The ISO 9001:2008 standard is a set of quality practices, which ensures the use of effective internal processes that are regularly monitored and analyzed for product realization, implementation, and customer satisfaction.

Achieving ISO 9001:2008 Certification was a desired goal even as our organization began. Our company focus is to provide quality services in the medical transport accreditation industry and is validated through the certification of our Quality Management System. I consider it an honor to say that we are the only Medical Transport Accreditation organization to achieve this internationally recognized certification says Roylen Griffin, NAAMTA Executive Director

NAAMTAs continued investment in ISO 9001:2008 Certification Standards gives my organization more confidence in their accreditation product and its impact on our organizations. Their accreditation program has improved our internal evaluations as we conduct quarterly meetings using their guidelines for operational processes and customer satisfaction.

More importantly, having NAAMTA monitor and strengthen our operational model allows us to focus on transport safety and patient care, says Matt Stein, Program Director, Classic Lifeguard Aero Medical Services.

About NAAMTA

NAAMTAS charter is to facilitate an Alliance with Medical Transport Service organizations, and existing or emerging policy-makers to establish and maintain an accurate and valuable set of standards and target accreditation that promotes EMS community exchange, improved organizational performance, and inclusion into overall industry best practices.

NAAMTAs IS0 9001:2008 Certification and ISO 9001:2008 Certified Lead Auditor Training, completed by each of our onsite accreditation auditors, insures that we can keep our standards and subsequent certification procedure extremely relevant and as organic as the client segment we serve.

To achieve this certification, NAAMTAs Quality Management System went through an extensive review by Performance Review Institute Registrar (PRI), who has been offering registrations since 1995.

Working towards and maintaining this certification signifies our commitment to our customers and to the EMS industry, whether they are medical transport service organizations, State EMS offices, or other industry related organizations.

We commit to the following:
